§1About these terms and the Seller
These Terms of Sale govern the purchase of products and services from Monika Jus through the store at shop.startwithmonica.com. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.
Seller: Monika Jus, os. Wl. Jagielly 12G, 60-694 Poznan, Poland, operating as unregistered activity (działalność nierejestrowana) under the Polish Act of 6 March 2018. Contact: [email protected].
These terms are available in English and can be saved or printed at any time. They apply to buyers worldwide. Where you buy as a consumer, mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence apply and are not affected by these terms — see §20.

↑ back to top§3What we sell
Start with Monica offers a mix of digital content (downloads, templates and guides), courses (instant-access or scheduled), and memberships (recurring access).
Each product page describes the main characteristics of the product, its price, and — for digital content — any technical or compatibility requirements. Illustrations and previews are for information; minor variations do not make a product non-conforming.
Some products may include resale or licensing rights. Where that is the case, the specific rights granted are stated on the product page or in the materials supplied, and those specific terms prevail over the general licence in §9.
§4Technical requirements
To buy and use our products you need internet access, a current web browser, a valid email address, and — for digital content — software able to open the formats supplied (for example PDF, video, or common design-file formats). Specific requirements, where relevant, are shown on the product page. We are not responsible for your inability to access content due to a failure to meet these requirements.
§5Placing an order and the contract
- Add products to your basket, provide the required details, and complete checkout through our payment provider.
- Before you pay, you can review your order and correct any errors. Submitting the order and paying places a binding order.
- The contract is formed when we confirm your order by email (the order confirmation). For instant-access digital content, access or the download link is typically provided at the same time.
- We may decline or cancel an order — for example where a product is unavailable, a price was clearly incorrect, payment fails, or we suspect fraud or misuse. If we cancel a paid order for these reasons, we refund the amount paid for the cancelled items.
§6Prices, currency and tax
Prices are shown on each product page in USD. The total payable, including any applicable taxes, is shown before you confirm your order.
Depending on your location and our obligations, prices may be shown inclusive or exclusive of tax, and applicable VAT/GST or sales tax may be added at checkout.
Prices may change, but changes do not affect orders already confirmed.
§7Payment (Stripe)
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card details. By paying, you authorise the charge shown at checkout, and you confirm you are authorised to use the payment method.
For memberships and other recurring products, you authorise Stripe to charge the applicable amount on each billing date until you cancel (see §14). Your use of Stripe is also subject to Stripe's own terms and privacy policy.
Where required, we issue an invoice or receipt for your purchase to the email address you provide.
↑ back to top§8Delivery and access
Digital content and instant-access courses
Delivered electronically, usually immediately after payment is confirmed, by download link and/or access to your account. If you do not receive access within a reasonable time, contact us and we will resolve it.
Scheduled courses and memberships
Access is provided as described on the product page — on a start date, in stages, or for the duration of the membership.
↑ back to top§9Licence and permitted use
Unless a product page grants wider rights, digital content and course materials are licensed to you for your personal, non-transferable use. You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, publicly share, or claim authorship of the materials, and you may not remove any notices.
Where a product expressly includes resale or reseller rights, you may use those materials only within the scope and conditions stated with that product. All intellectual property in our products remains ours or our licensors', except for the specific rights granted to you.
Breach of this licence entitles us to revoke your access without refund and to pursue available remedies.
↑ back to top§10Accounts
Some products require an account. You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use. You may request deletion of your account; deletion does not affect obligations or rights that arose before it.
§11Right of withdrawal / cancellationEUUK
If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance purchase without giving a reason. How this applies depends on what you bought:
Digital content and instant-access courses — waiver at checkout
Because these are delivered immediately, at checkout you are asked to expressly request immediate access and acknowledge that, once access or download begins, you lose the 14-day right of withdrawal. Where you give that consent and access begins, the purchase is final and non-refundable, subject to your statutory rights for faulty or not-as-described content in §13.
Services and scheduled courses
If you ask us to begin a service during the 14-day period and it is then fully performed, you lose the right to withdraw once performance is complete. If you withdraw while a service is only partly performed, you pay a proportionate amount for what was provided.
Buyers outside the EU/UK
If you buy from a country without a statutory cooling-off right, the final-sale policy in §12 applies to your purchase, subject to §13.
↑ back to top§12Refunds and final-sale policyUS
Except where §11 or §13 gives you a right to a refund, all sales are final. In particular:
- digital content and instant-access courses are non-refundable once access or download begins;
- membership fees already charged for a current billing period are non-refundable (you can cancel future renewals — see §14);
- we do not offer refunds for change of mind on non-returnable items, or for failure to use a product.
This policy is disclosed to you before purchase and does not limit any non-waivable statutory rights you have as a consumer, including any withdrawal or cancellation rights described in §11 and the rights that apply to faulty or misdescribed products (§13). Where a refund is due, we make it using the original payment method, through Stripe, without undue delay.
↑ back to top§13Faulty products and your statutory rights
We must supply products that match their description and are of satisfactory quality. If a product is faulty, materially not as described, or digital content does not work as it should, you are entitled to a remedy under the law that applies to you — which may include repair, replacement, re-supply, a price reduction, or a refund. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits these rights.
To make a claim, contact us at [email protected] with your order details and a description of the problem. We aim to acknowledge complaints promptly and to respond within the period required by applicable law — for consumers, within 14 days. We may ask for information reasonably needed to assess the claim.
↑ back to top§14Memberships and recurring payments
Memberships renew automatically and are billed through Stripe each month until cancelled. The price and billing cycle are shown before you subscribe.
- You can cancel at any time from your account or by contacting us; cancellation stops future renewals.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and you keep access until then. Fees already charged for the current period are not refunded, except where required by law.
- If we change the membership price, we will give you advance notice and the change applies only to future billing periods; you may cancel before it takes effect.
- If a renewal payment fails, we may suspend or end access after reasonable attempts to collect payment.
§15Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse our products or Store: no sharing account access or paid content with people who have not paid, no copying or redistributing beyond your licence, no attempts to circumvent access controls, and no unlawful use. We may suspend or terminate access for serious or repeated breaches, without refund where the breach justifies it.
§16Our liability
Our products, including guides and courses, are provided for information and education. They are not a promise of any particular result, and any outcome depends on your own effort and circumstances.
We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or our negligence. We are not liable for unforeseeable loss, or for business losses where you buy as a business. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for a consumer's non-excludable statutory rights.
↑ back to top§17Complaints and dispute resolution
If something is wrong, contact us first at [email protected] — most issues are resolved quickly this way.
If you are a consumer and we cannot resolve a complaint between us, you may be entitled to use an out-of-court dispute resolution scheme in your country. The European Commission’s central Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform was permanently discontinued on 20 July 2025 and is no longer available. If you are a consumer resident in the EU, you may instead refer a dispute to a certified alternative dispute resolution (ADR) entity. In Poland, you can contact your local municipal or district consumer ombudsman (miejski lub powiatowy rzecznik konsumentów), the Trade Inspection (Inspekcja Handlowa), or consult the register of ADR entities maintained by the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK) at uokik.gov.pl. For cross-border purchases within the EU, the European Consumer Centres Network (ECC-Net) can help. These options do not affect your right to bring a claim in court.
↑ back to top§18Personal data
We process your personal data to fulfil your order and meet our legal obligations. How we handle your data, and your rights, are described in our Privacy & Cookies Policy.
§19Changes to these terms
We may update these terms — for example to reflect changes in our products, payment methods, or the law. The version that applies to your purchase is the one in force when you place your order. The current version's date is shown at the top of this page.
§20Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Poland. If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of your own country where the law allows. If you buy as a business, disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Poland.
